TAPPING TRADITION: The Rise of Web3

TAPPING TRADITION: The Rise of Web3

Who would ever believe it?

Even unbelievers believed, because they saw and heard testimonies of tapping miracles. The same people that were nonchalant to mine Pi Network are busy tapping Tapswap because Notcoin was not all for nothing in the end. Notcoin paid some people something, now everyone is after tapping bots. Millions are tapping endlessly in this tapping madness season. A lot is happening, and nobody wants to be left behind. More than 35 million people mined Notcoin under 6 months. With the current condition of the crypto community, the number of Tapswap Tappers is predicted to surpass that of Notcoin in 3 months. The same people that said that Pi shall not pay are currently paying homage to Tapswap, Hamster Kombat, Yescoin, Dotcoin, and host of others.

The crypto community is shocked. Millions of wallet creations in less than a week is enough to make the wicked weak. The meek need money to buy milk. Who doesn’t like free meals? Even witches and wizards are tapping and mining in this web3. Welcome to the new dispensation; web3 promises fortune for the future. This generation must be great. Now, we all can see that poverty cannot hinder prosperity. The poor can rise from poverty with progress and achieve prosperity. Poverty can make a person to perish like perishable potatoes. Without promises of a better tomorrow, what’s the essence of waking up tomorrow? Hope keeps us alive. What crypto currency promises is hope.

Despite the ban on crypto currencies for Nigerian citizens by the government, the number of registered crypto users in the country has risen with the rise of Web3. None should deny the people hope, because it’s not proper in any tradition. Not in the past, not in the present, and never in the future. People must be allowed to progress freely, for progress is a fundamental inalienable human right. What’s the essence of people living, if they will not live well? A lot of people love crypto, but poverty makes the poor cry, for there’s hardly progress where problems dwell. Now, Web3 is here to uplift the poor, especially from the underdeveloped countries of the world. We pray they pay. The laborer shall not labor in vain; for magic, miracle, and money shall manifest.

The Igbo People of South-Eastern Nigeria have a popular proverb “Whenever you wake up is your morning.” It’s never too late to start. The coin you start tapping or mining today, others are on it for weeks, months, and years. But, never say never, for a single coin can make a difference when diced. A coin can make you a thousandaire, a millionaire, or a billionaire. Truth is that you will never know if you aren’t buying, selling, trading, mining, or tapping. Life itself is a gamble, for none ever knows how shits go down. Nonetheless, we should foresee the future and not fear it. Web3 is fun and promises a greater future of decentralized fortunes. Wrap yourself in this web of wealth.

The internet has evolved remarkably since its inception, transitioning from the static web pages of Web1 to the interactive, user-generated content of Web2. Now, we stand on the brink of another revolutionary phase: Web3. This new paradigm promises to decentralize the internet, placing control back into the hands of users and fostering an ecosystem characterized by transparency, security, and economic opportunity.

Understanding Web3:

Web3, often referred to as the decentralized web, leverages blockchain technology to create a more open and user-centric internet. Unlike Web2, where data and content are controlled by a few giant corporations, Web3 aims to distribute control across a network of users. This shift is powered by blockchain's ability to record transactions in a secure, immutable ledger, enabling trustless interactions without the need for intermediaries.

The Core Technologies Driving Web3:

Several key technologies underpin the Web3 movement:

  • Blockchain: The foundational technology that ensures transparency and security in transactions. Blockchains like Ethereum support smart contracts, which are self-executing contracts with the terms of the agreement directly written into code.
  • Cryptocurrencies: Digital currencies that facilitate transactions within the Web3 ecosystem. Bitcoin and Ethereum are the most well-known, but thousands of other cryptocurrencies are emerging to support various applications.
  • Decentralized Applications (dApps): Applications that run on a blockchain network rather than on centralized servers. These apps offer services from finance (DeFi) to gaming, without relying on traditional intermediaries.
  • Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs): Unique digital assets verified using blockchain technology. NFTs have revolutionized the concept of ownership and provenance in the digital space, especially in art, music, and gaming.

Promises of Prosperity:

Web3 is poised to deliver numerous benefits, promising a more prosperous digital future:

  1. Empowerment and Ownership: Users gain control over their data and digital identities, mitigating the power imbalances seen in Web2. This self-sovereignty is a significant shift towards individual empowerment.
  2. Economic Opportunities: Web3 opens up new economic models and revenue streams. Creators can monetize their content directly, bypassing traditional gatekeepers. Play-to-earn gaming models and decentralized finance (DeFi) platforms offer novel ways for users to earn and invest money.
  3. Increased Transparency: The decentralized nature of blockchain ensures that transactions and operations are transparent and publicly verifiable. This transparency can reduce fraud and build trust across various sectors, including supply chain management, voting systems, and charity organizations.
  4. Innovation and Inclusivity: By lowering entry barriers, Web3 fosters innovation and inclusivity. Developers from around the world can contribute to and benefit from decentralized projects, democratizing the tech landscape.

Challenges and Considerations:

Despite its potential, Web3 faces several challenges:

  • Scalability: Current blockchain networks can be slow and expensive to operate, hindering widespread adoption. Projects like Ethereum 2.0 aim to address these issues through upgrades that improve speed and reduce costs.
  • Regulatory Uncertainty: The regulatory landscape for cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology remains unclear in many jurisdictions. Governments need to balance innovation with the need for consumer protection and financial stability.
  • User Experience: For mainstream adoption, Web3 applications must become more user-friendly. Currently, navigating blockchain wallets and understanding smart contracts can be daunting for non-technical users.
  • Security: While blockchain itself is secure, the ecosystem is not immune to hacks and scams. Ensuring robust security practices and educating users on safe practices is crucial.

Conclusively, Web3 represents the next evolutionary step for the internet, promising to return control to users and create a more equitable digital landscape. By leveraging blockchain technology, Web3 can transform industries, foster economic opportunities, and build a transparent and inclusive digital world. While challenges remain, the momentum behind Web3 suggests a future where prosperity is decentralized, empowering individuals and communities globally. As we continue to innovate and address these challenges, the true potential of Web3 will unfold, heralding a new era of digital prosperity.

Dearly Beloved, let the web of wealth envelope you, and wrap you well, especially in the contemporary global economic hardship. You’re the sole captain of your ship. Safe or storm, sail or sink, nothing is sure in life; not even life itself. Nevertheless, people regret the things they didn’t do more than they regret the things they did. Jesus Christ is our Lord and saviour, he will come soon to save us. Meanwhile, don’t waste the wait. If innovation is important, then imagination is power. Work more and worry less. A humble appeal to every government of this world: if you take away everything from the people, don’t tamper with their hopes. The people deserve to decide how they die. Deal!
