FINANCIAL FREEDOM
You want freedom just like everyone else, but freedom is never free. What kind of freedom do you want? Do you want freedom of speech or expression? Do you want freedom of movement or association? Yes, these are your rights as a human. But what is the essence of freedom if you don’t feel free? You have it, but it’s not enough for you. Truth is: without money, man is not totally free, because poverty is a prison on its own.
If you want fortune, fame, and greatness; feed your body and mind, but starve your ego. But if you want to remain stuck in poverty, just feed your body and your ego; and they will fuel you with entitlements mentality, which will seal your poverty for life. As long as you’re human, you have your limitations. Nonetheless, we all have the ability to recognize our weaknesses and control them. But many people refuse to accept their shortcomings and thus blame others for their failings. Truth is: refusing to admit your mistakes is not greatness but weakness, and blaming others for them is wickedness.
You are you and not any other person. Never compare yourself with others, for what fattens the cow may make the lion lean. What one survives, kills another. Beloved, focus on your God-given-gifts and never envy the blessings of others. It’s alright to aspire to improve your situation, but that’s not an excuse to be discontented. Discontentment makes rich people feel poor, while contentment makes poor people feel prosperous. While you pursue money and chase away poverty; be grateful for the things you have.
Making money has principles and processes which people must follow. On the contrary, many want to be rich quick through shortcuts. Nobody wants to suffer, but everybody wants to be successful. Beloved listen, becoming rich may be difficult, but staying rich is more difficult. Anyone can lose anything as fast as they got it; for it’s easier for a rich man to become poor, than for a poor man to become rich. Mentality matters most when it comes to money, for if you’re not wise, you can foolishly lose all you have. History has littered lists of rich people that went bankrupt. Financial freedom is not a forever affair.
Omnem credo diem tibi diloxisse supremum – Believe each day to have dawned as your last. The future is not always bright as many positive minds would have you believe. Of course, it’s beneficial to be positive, but embracing reality is wisdom. Most times, the future is dark and only those with light can walk in that darkness. Thus, be the light. Yes, you may know what it takes, but you may not possess what it takes. It takes a lot more than you think to be rich and stay rich. When you’re old and faded, the world will remember the footprints you have made on the sands of time. Beauty fades, but beautiful memories always feel fresh in the minds of people. When you’re no longer beautiful, people will only care about the beautiful things you have made, not you.
Edimus ut vivamus – We eat in order to live. Life is simple if you choose to live it simply. To be rich, risk is always involved. If financial freedom is free for everyone, then everyone in Freetown would be billionaires. But nothing good ever comes that easy. You must have the guts for glory, for that’s the drive that motivates financial freedom. If it’s money you want, try your best to make it. If it’s success you want, strive hard to succeed. Likewise, if it’s financial freedom you want, you need your wisdom and wits in the game. Everyone makes wishes, but not everyone is ready to work for it. The problem is that people worry more and work less. Discontented hearts always complain about everything, and hardly compliments people and things. Fight to be financially free.
Oliver will always want more, don’t get it twisted. Humans are ingrates and insatiable. Give a man a million and he will look for more millions. Once one tastes richness in its fullness, they can do anything to stay rich. Contemporarily, the world is full of irregularities, for many wants to make money by any means possible, even if it seems impossible. The knowledge that nothing lasts forever, is the reason people want more of everything. You can’t trust anyone or anything to be enough, for that’s the essence of making connections with people. Thus, if you want more money, you need more people. Moreover, you don’t just need people, you need the right people. People make people rich. People make people poor. Hence, the people in your life matters when it comes to making money. You must distinguish between the right and wrong people in your life, if you ever want to be free. Listen beloved, your fans are not your friends; know your friends. Your fans are attracted to your success, but your friends know about your struggles. Nonetheless, to be financially free, you must free yourself of all emotions.
Dearly Beloved, control your thoughts, for they create your realities. If want to be rich, you must think rich. If you don’t know how to swim, learn how to swim. One day, you will realize that only you can save you. Beware beloved; the confidence that you can swim will save you, but the pride that you can swim will sink you. The sea is never safe. Thus, it’s safe to always use your senses. That you have it, doesn’t mean you can’t lose it. If you ever make it, be humble and kind, for you are human, and the world is a temporal place. Anything can happen anytime to anyone. Do not seek to be financially free if it involves selling your soul to the devil. Whatever that costs you your peace is expensive, don’t buy it, for it may bury you alive. Money is good, but man is evil. Watch your back!
