JUNIOR POPE DIES AT 39

JUNIOR POPE DIES AT 39

Death is inevitable. We're all actors and actresses on earth, not knowing when the movie ends. Faith has nothing to do with fate, when it's time, it happens with or without explanations. That's life!

The Entire Nigeria, Nollywood and Entertainment Industry mourns the saddened passing of "Obumneme Odonwodo" populary known as Junior Pope. The talented actor, passed way on the 10th of April along with three other actors on their return journey from a film shoot. It was reported that their boat capsized in the Anam River in Anambra State. The river is strongly linked to River Niger. They embarked on their last journey without life jackets, just as most people do, and it became their last. Safety is imperative in life, but nobody knows it all, shit happens.

Before the fated day, Junior Pope made a video on Tuesday 9th April 2024, capturing him and the others in a boat while going for the movie shoot. A lovely personality. He made jokes of risking his life in the name of entertainment, because they journeyed on the river without safety jackets. He was equally heard pleading with the boat captain to take it easy as he had a wife and three children at home. Like play like play, it happened, now they're dead... This life is mysterious. He was saved from the river, and sent to the hospital.

Despite all attempts to revive Junior Pope, he passed away in a Nigerian hospital later that day. He was born on May 7th, 1984 in Bamenda Cameroon. The Nsukka actor hails from Ukehe, in Enugu State, Nigeria. He started his acting career in 2006, and had acted many movies in Nollywood. The most popular being "Secret Adventure". Junior Pope married in 2014 and was blessed with three children.

The Nsukka finest actor was loved by many for his talented and hilarious acting. His vibes were real, as he fits into any role and makes the best of it.

Indeed, none can explain life better... Only God knows. We join in mourning this talented actor. May the good Lord grant fortitude to his family and loved ones. May they find peace in this pain.

Rest in Peace Obumneme Odonwodo 🕊️
